Angela Bradstreet: even with her IQ, JD, and bank account, is she merely a mid-level flunkie for GAS and Vicky Bradshaw?

If the DLSE wanted to pull back their action against Miles Locker, then they could. Much like a court, the prosecution can withdraw their complaint as long as it has not been decided (either by a judge or a jury). This February, the taxpayers of California celebrated their 2-year anniversary of Miles Locker being terminated from public service. What ever happened to the douchebags that fired him? Vicky Bradshaw is still employed, John Rea is on her left udder, Robert Jones is on her right udder, and Anthony Mischel is still collecting his paycheck. DIRt lead grifter lawyer Vanessa Holton is still there, ever the collective mess that she is.
Like any tool (blunt instrument), she's only guided by whoever's handling her: Susan Kennedy, Wal Mart, Boeing, etc? As far as I can tell, her bigshot law degree, her fat bank account, and her big IQ have amounted to nothing at DLSE: she's yet to decide anything on her own. Morons tell her that phone calls will fix that Corrales abortion, so she tells conference deputies to make phone calls. Morons tell her not to settle with the blogger, so she doesn't settle (and the DLSE subsequently loses in court..again). Morons tell her to support that taxpayer-paid, multi-million dollar abortion called CMS, and she does what a good ho's supposed to do: please her pimps.
I'm sure Morons are telling her not to deal with Miles Locker, but she'd be real smart not to listen to those Morons; those are the same Morons that are constantly putting her in a trick-box. Yeah, she's so smart, she can't even tell when she's getting played. This is the big difference between street smarts and book smarts. She went to Berkeley law School and she can't keep from getting played?
Here's a small list of why Angela Bradstreet should not be confirmed by the Senate as Labor Commissioner:
1) She continues to waste millions of taxpayers dollars on CMS
2) Through her two (2) page "excuse" letter about the yet-to-be-built Santa Ana safety barrier, her professional snubbing of Assembly Member Van Tran discredits this agency
3) She's a corporate shill for Brinker Restaurant Corp.
4) She (chief state labor law enforcement officer) offers biased opinions on private litigation
5) She's too incompetent to currently fix the problems identified in the Corrales lawsuit
6) She promoted Denise Padres (hearing officer of Hartwig/precedent decision on meal & rest period [penalty v. wage]) to Deputy Chief
7) She continues to protect Hearing Officer Vicki Tamoush, even after Boeing's seven (7) page complaint against Tamoush
and finally,
8) Outside of Wal Mart & Brinker, Angela Bradstreet has done nothing to improve either this agency or how it serves the employee & employer; she's a waste of taxpayer-paid public service
She doesn't deserve the job because the taxpayers of California deserve better than her. The Senate confirmation committee owes this much to the taxpayers.

Hearing Officer Vicki Tamoush screwing over the taxpayer and DLSE does NOTHING! Mgr. Abby Calva just sits there...

Friday, December 28th: Santa Ana DLSE secretary calls all Plaintiffs and Defendants to inform them that their December 31st hearings with Vicki Tamoush are cancelled. Why Vicki Tamoush decided to cancel all her caseload on New Year's Eve is bullshit, but since there's no policy on internal cancellations, she can screw over the taxpayers with apparently, complete freedom.
Monday, December 31st: one of the Plaintiffs didn't get the voicemail and flew all the way from North Carolina. You think the DLSE is gonna reimburese him for Vicki Tamoush's actions? You think anything's going to happen to that sow of a public servant? Regional Assclown Abigael Calva, if the past is any indication of the future, will probably try to explain the cover up as business as usual. Abigael Calva will protect Vicki Tamoush to Vicki's last Twinkie, and if there is any suffering or unprofessionalism, it will be felt by the taxpayer. The DLSE doesn't give a rat's ass about the public because they allow Vicki Tamoush to act with impunity.
Abigael Calva has known about the problems with Tamoush for years & Abigael Calva won't do sh*t about them. If you get the chance, ask DLSE Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet and DLSE Regional Manager Abigael Calva about private attorney Stephen Afgani and where his compaints against Vicki Tamoush went. Maybe Abigael Calva considers Vicki Tamoush to be the daughter she never had...

DLSE Van Nuys office: please pass out these strips to those parents who are demanding their kids' entertainment work permits, you have 60+day delay?

With this image: right click to download (save as...) and print, or left-click to enlarge and print. Just as easy as 1-2-3! Print, cut, and pass out! These informational strips are only needed if CMS causes an unnecessary delay in servicing the public. If you sense that the customer (our public) is upset or unsatisfied with the time it takes to process the issues under the Labor Commissioner's jurisdiction, then think about telling them the REAL reason why they are experiencing their delay.
If they appear upset, then you can ask them if they feel if they've been delayed...then you can ask them if they'd like more information about the cause of their delay. This way, the customer asked for it, and it specifically relates to CMS. All you are doing is providing information to the customer;
the public has a right to know why they are being subjected to such a disservice.
Remember, use this method only if CMS causes an unreasonable delay. Acting Labor Commissioner LWDA Deputy Secretary Robert Jones isn't working on it; he's working on his next promotion!

Labor Commissioner has money to fly her crew all over the place, but there's no money to fill vacancies? WTF?

Something dawned on me a few days ago. After the DLSE flew two officials from Northern California to Orange County to spend a couple hours asking bullshit questions, I realized that the DLSE is managed by those that truly didn't give a shit about serving the People of California. Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet knew about this expenditture (probably authorized it), and seemed not to care as this was not coming out of her Saulsalito checking account.
These Spenders-of-taxpayer-funds are the same assholes that had a supervisors "Band Camp" stayover at the Atrium in Irvine. Yeah, these retards don't hesitate to drop mucho taxpayer funds on nice hotels for their moron conventions, but it would seem prudent that before they start spending money on these lavish items...that every, single god-damn vacancy should be filled. Instead, they run around on airplanes and at hotels, going here and going there, and then cry like little babies about how there's no money.
I'm calling bullshit.
The DLSE has money for manager conventions at the Irvine Atrium but does not have funds to fill vacancies? The DLSE has money to fly two butt-licks down to So Cal for 3 hours of work but no money to fill vacancies? Besides, what was so special about these two 'tards that could not have been done by local 'tards? You know what those two 'tards did? They read from sheets of paper, as the questions came from OD-Legal. Any local DLSE manager could have read from those sheets, so once again, why did the DLSE spend so much money on flying them down to read?
Hey dumbshit: fill the vacancies, then take airplane trips & have your retard conventions on the taxpayers' dime...it's called prioritization.

CMS deception in DIR (www.dir.ca.gov) is like saying there's heat in the sun

Wanna know why DIR isn't saying sh*t about the true taxpayer cost in trying to bring CMS to life? Because why would the DIR knowingly punch themselves in the face and cause a black eye? They wouldn't; their history has been to cover sh*t up and sweep it under the rug.
Who knows if CMS costs $6 million dollars or $60 million. Who knows who got rich from CMS, and who knows how bad the taxpayer got screwed on CMS.
The California Taxpayer's Assn. might need to know about this multi-million dollar, taxpayer-paid abortion. CMS is a waste and the taxpayers shouldn't be paying this bill. Let people know: print a couple pages of this blog or send them an email.

DLSE's 3-card monte with taxpayer-paid state vehicles: who cares because the taxpayer's paying the bill & DLSE doesn't change until a court orders it

The Los Angeles office of the DLSE cannot do their job because they are too busy crying about which car is assigned to them. Asst. Chief Greg Rupp dislikes his new "E" plate car, so he gives that one to gal pal Abigael Calva: Rupp acquires new car with undercover plates. The DLSE never stops bending over the taxpayer and giving them the shank. Those two nitwits rarely slither out of their caves, so to justify giving them cars is very weak. To give them new cars is just them laughing at what they can do to the taxpayer. Asst. Chief Rupp doesn't need a car with undercover license plates; who does he think he is, Frank Cannon? The biggest difference being that Frank Cannon actually did work and closed cases, but I digress.
So we have Regional Manager Abby Calva all pimped out in her brand-new Impala, but the real mystery is where her old car went. Did it go back to the state's Dept. of General Services? Nope. Abby's old gold Stratus went to her gal pal supervisor Diana Chen. What that means is that we now have a state vehicle issued to Wage Claims and going to the Bureau of Field Enforcement. What did Diana Chen do with that car? She gave it to subordinate Andy Kim, because he's been crying about not getting a new car for a long time; besides, she didn't like the color! Diana Chen has this subordinate, Ricardo Mejia, who drove around in a semi-new lavender car. She likes the color of that car, so she just takes it. She then takes the state vehicle issued to Carlos Lopez and gives it to Mr. Mejia. Mr. Lopez no longer needs a car, as he is leaving the DLSE to work for California's Dept. of Health Services.
Asst. Chief Greg Rupp's new state vehicle sits at his house while he recovers from knee problems...funny how management has no problem brow-beating the rank & file employees into submitting their state vehicles for general use should any of these rank & file types be away from their duties for more than a week! Nice double standard there; let's see Angela fix that. Based on the action & inaction I've seen in the first 30 days, I don't think new Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet will do much at her new job. What I don't understand is why she left a big law firm (pro-employer/anti-employee litigation) to take a cut in pay to work at DLSE. If she's going to use this job as a resume builder for political greener pastures, then one might assume that she'll need to do well here.
Currently, she's having Abigael Calva and Lupe Almaraz figure out how to solve her Corrales problem. Angela can start by not thinking that the problem makers are really problem solvers in disguise...they're (still) problem makers. Angela should have them solve the taxpayer-paid state vehicle ethics problem before giving them a California Supreme Court problem like Corrales deadlines to solve.

DLSE Wage Claims Managers, desk jockeys by nature (unlike field enforcement), so why does Abigael Calva get a state vehicle, gas, & state parking?

DLSE Regional Manager Abigael Calva doesn't need a taxpayer-paid car, she doesn't need the taxpayer to pay for her parking spot, and she doesn't need the taxpayer to pay for her gas to commute from Pasadena to Los Angeles.
I'm sure that things are so tough on her bank account that she desperately needs the taxpayer to pay for her gas to commute from home to work and vice versa. She needs the taxpayer to pay for a state car, and she needs the taxpayer to pay for her gas.
Here's the real kick in the sack...she doesn't go anywhere! Wanna prove it? Do a Public Records Act request and ask for all mileage logs (it's state form 273) under her care & control. The DLSE monkeys (above her paygrade) will spin it by saying that as a Regional Manager, she's responsible for a bunch of offices. That's a bunch of crap: she never goes anywhere unless she's forced to leave her cave in Los Angeles.
The DLSE has 3 other options instead of raping the taxpayer as bad as they are now:
1) have the lazy manager carpool with another
2) have the lazy manager borrow another DLSE employee vehicle
3) have the lazy manager use her own car and expense the mileage
She doesn't need a vehicle, the state forms will demonstrate her lack of use (except for taxpayer-paid commute miles!), and worst of all...I highly doubt that she's in compliance with the Home Storage permit as well as the Personal Use of State Vehicle form (where she's charged $3 per day [reported as income for tax purposes] if the vehicle is used only for commute purposes).
This just goes to her failure as a manager; if she cannot be trusted with taxpayer funds, if she cannot be trusted with completing the mandated forms, then in my world she is deemed worthless, incompetent, stupid, inefficient, and she is providing a disservice to the People of California. Just like Greg Rupp, she's grinding out the clock to retirement. She knows what she's doing isn't right; she's just insecure and wants to feel like an important somebody. She's so insecure that she sits with the DLSE attorneys instead of her own staff...too bad none of it rubbed off. Nonetheless, it's a nice non-verbal message to communicate to those who work under her...or if you ask her, "beneath" her.
