I talked to MP; she found mail in the trash [dated 1/19/05] on 1/20/05, both opened and unopened. She told TK, who took charge of it. MP also found same thing in trash can at the desk of XX [no one else knows about this].

US Mail received by DLSE thrown in trash? Anonymous source said that MP found unopened mail in the trash. She reported it to her boss (checks were in some of that mail). A different source told me that employees told supervisor AG about prior rumors (about US mail being thrown away) over a year ago, but DLSE did nothing about it. As per anonymous source, FC lost 2 hearings (226 violations)-no evidence and big amounts. Had to continue a MdlR hearing because she failed to schedule a Spanish speaking interpreter. She's only a peace officer and has been on the job for 20 years! So much for getting better the longer you do it.
