Women completely protected at DLSE: Lenora Lewis, Angel David, etc. didn't get suspended like that man the Denise Padres suspended for those emails!

DLSE Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet does love her women at DLSE; I mean, she really loves them!!!! Denise Padres suspends a man for two weeks for receiving & forwarding inappropriate emails, then does nothing to the women that sent him those emails! I bet that no investigations were initiated on those women because under woman-lover Angela Bradstreet, women get promoted and men get suspended!
Once these pro-woman/anti-men discovered how many discriminations laws they violated, they had that moron supervisor Jorge Gomez call the man's home (on a Thursday night) to inform him that his suspension is now one week instead of two, and that he's to serve the second week of suspension sometime before March 29th. Who had ever heard of such unprofessional conduct by Jorge Gomez? Why was this man's suspension revised, who reviewed and approved the 2-week suspension, and who decided to revise it (orally, not in writing, and at the 11th hour)? Labor Standards has no labor standards.
To sum it up, these female managers at DLSE (pretty much) violated every rule in the supervisor's handbook regarding retaliation & discrimination, but they don't care because they are untouchable-free from any sort of accountability.

will Jorge Gomez ever clean his desks? Spending time on post-it notes doesn't make him ready for a DLC IV promotion

You should see all the crap that he has on his desks. Gomez is in a state of forever payback, meaning that if a subordinate hits him in the ass with some screw-up of his, then he will spend the rest of his time poring thru your stuf until he finds a mistake. Hence, the peppering of post-it notes on certain employee case files in Santa Ana.
A week ago, hearing officer Jackson overbooked his flight and had too many hearings in the morning, so he asked the new hearing officer DumbBar to hold one of Jackson's hearings. DumbBar said no problem. Not only did DumbBar not hold the hearing, but he lied to Jackson about the parties not being served so he couldn't hold the hearing. The Defendant was a catering company who was already delayed once already, so they were really pissed off. Jackson goes to DumbBar, who tells him that Lee (the clerk) has the file, but she says that Jorge has it. Jorge Gomez, in his supervisory half-lie/other-half-bullshit speak, tells Jackson that DumbBar couldn't hold the hearing and refused to tell Jackson why. The only thing Gomez told him was that there was a very good reason not to hold the hearing. DumbBar is a spittin' image of Vicky Tamoush! Jorge hired exactly who he wanted: an ass-kissing moron.
Total bullshit. Why was this reason so secretive? What was so good to delay justice? Were these very good reasons in the 900 Notes? Was DumbBar's, Lee's, and Gomez's actions covered in the 900 Notes? Gomez is excellent in jerking off those he doesn't respect, like his staff. Gomez also thinks he's great at sucking up to his bosses, but his bosses know how much of a moron he is, which is one of the very many reasons why the blogger cannot wait to have him deposed and under oath.

DLSE eunuch mgr. Jorge Gomez has highest DLC caseload in state: 500+ with a goal of 750 open cases per conference holder!

Jorge Gomez is NUMBER ONE!  His office has the highest caseload per conference holder (IRR, MST, DLC).  As an example of his genius, some guy performed labor in London, England and wanted to file a wage claim, so off it went to a Santa Ana conference deputy.
The deputy, having many years of experience, said there was no claim.  It didn't end there!  Jorge Gomez had to get involved, and then he involved DLSE legal, who then had to waste their time to codify their opinion, since Jorge Gomez hasn't learned anything in his 30+ years of experience and was too afraid to offer any opinion because eunuchs don't offer opinions.  What was legal's opinion?  The same as the conference deputy's opinion, but all that time had to be wasted.
What should have taken five minutes took three (3) different levels of government and hours.  Jorge The Eunuch? he still didn't have an opinion: just sit there and collect your paycheck, Jorge. They pay deputies a lot of money to make decisions, but then don't want them making decisions.  They do the same for managers. but DLSE managers make a lot more money to just sit there, professionally constipated.

Anyone who needs Spanish in Santa Ana will continue to be screwed, but CMS got their $10,000,000+ taxpayer funds

How is it that the DLSE Santa Ana office cannot afford translators, but they can throw away TEN MILLION DOLLARS to that piece-of-crap computer software contract called CMS? Jorge Gomez has bilingual clerks doing the translating for the informal conferences, and I've been told that the formal hearings are either being done by DLSE secretaries or those hearings are being continued until such bills can be paid.
This must be Jorge Gomez, partying because he has clerks translating instead of doing clerical work. Once again, Labor Standards has no Labor Standards: they have $10,000,000+ for CMS contract payoffs but they don't have $100 for a Spanish translator. Don't expect Jorge Gomez to stand up and cry foul: he's too busy bending over for his bosses.

Years later and Santa Ana DLSE still has no safety barrier...

What's the dipshit excuse now, no budget? Can't these spincter muscles find a way to get something done instead of providing excuses for consistent failures, blown deadlines, and fiduciary malfeasance? This is DLSE Supervisor Jorge Gomez, partying because the entire California COURT OF APPEALS building will be built before the DLSE has their ribbon-cutting ceremony on that new counter/reception area/safety barrier.
One friggin' office to be built versus an entire building. Does the entire DIRt/DLSE desk jockeys suffer from asswholeitis?
Congrats to latest Santa Ana hire DLSE Deputy Commissioner Susanita Parker on receiving two separate complaints for job performance, but she won't receive the same treatment as the blogger because they only want to discriminate, harass, and retaliate against the blogger. Five years after being placed on formal notice that the DLSE lacks a specific policy, and the DLSE still has no internal complaint investigations policy...just personal vendettas.

Santa Ana jota supervisor does it again, but this time he screws over the entire settlement conference staff

Jorge Gomez thought he, Regional Idiot Abigael Calva, and San Bernadino mgr. Bob Sweet could handle the settlement conferences after they terminated the blogger. How long do you think that lasted? That's right, two weeks! They got a small taste of what settlement conference deputies do day in and day out, and they ran back under their little desks, sucking their thumbs and mumbling "mommy."
Confidential sources tell me that DLSE puta mgr. Jorge Gomez directed the secretary to start re-assigning the blogger's caseload to all of the other staff...Jorge, if you are going to eff them, at least kiss them first! What happened to the replacement deputy? What's the average caseload for settlement deputies in Santa Ana now? Gomez certainly does more with less.
According to the Dept. of Personnel Administration, cranial rectal inversion is not covered under approved sick leave....there is no cure.

I love his minimum wage party hat! I want one to celebrate the Governor effing his own workers, oh but wait, I don't f*ck state workers.
If the state insists on not living up to its contractual obligations, then state workers should walk out and not work. DLCs have this "no walkout" clause, and without a contract and with this minimum wage shoved up their asses, they should reciprocate the favor.
I'd rather get $0 per hour and not work than have to listen to Whore-hay Gomez banter at a staff meeting for $6.55 per hour...just shoot me now!

DLSE Police Officers Frank Capetillo and Lee Pearson trespass on private property to serve paid administrative leave notice

So DLSE peace officers Frank Capetillo and Lee Pearson get kicked by someone higher up the food chain to serve this, so what else is new? I'm sure I can find it in the DLSE PPM (Policy & Procedures Manual) that peace officers serve administrative actions like this all the time. It's normal, right?
I'm sure Lee didn't want to wake up at 4am in Temecula (and Frank at 5am in Alhambra), but that's no excuse (to lay in wait) for a vehicle to trigger entry into a gated community and illegally trespass. That's what the DLSE cops did; they broke the law to personally serve a paid administrative leave notice? I forgot, DLSE cops break the law to intimidate, because there was no other way to serve this notice. What was the sense of urgency, again? Whore-hay Gomez could not stand to ignore another email where non-existent policies and procedures were requested?
What a shock that the DLSE continues to give Judge Fell the middle finger by ignoring her court order, what a shock that DLSE cops trespass on private property, and what a shock that they retaliated against the blogger.

Jorge Gomez approves alternative work schedules for women but not for men. Female managers approve of such sexism?

This is the latest. Even though Gov. Schwarzenegger wants telework and alternative work schedules (AWS), Whore-hay Gomez only doles out the AWS to women.
Labor Standards has no Labor Standards. Whore-hay allows his female staff to "cherry-pick" case files because easy case files are easy closures for stats. Most of Whore-hay's life has been managed by women: 1 wife, 3 daughters, 3 female bosses, and 9 female subordinates.
What Gomez doesn't understand, as well as Calva, Bradstreet, Bradshaw, Jones, Mischel, Munoz, McGinty & Holton don't understand is that they are not fixing the problem. The DLSE f*cked up and violated my civil rights, and the ones who screwed up are the ones that gotta make it right; it ain't up to me to make it right. If someone gotta extend the olive branch, it's the DLSE that must do it first.
You'd think that these monkeys would only want me in the office four days a week instead of five days a week, but I guess Jorge and his idiot bosses want me reporting his idiocy five days a week...maybe I'd ease off the throttle with these *ssholes if they would just stop constantly trying to sh*t on my career every step of the way. They got me boxed into a corner where I got nothing to lose (no hope of promotion, no AWS, no telework, constantly being f*cked with, etc.).

Current update: CMS still screwed the taxpayers for $10-million plus, and not one DLSE douchebag has been charged with this felony

Pro-management ass-sucks can hate on me all they want with their anti-blogger comments (I'll keep deleting only those), and yeah-some of my colorful adjectives are juvenile.
It doesn't change the fact that the assholes responsible for the $10-million+ abortion called CMS never got so much as a f*cking counseling memo for such taxpayer waste, but they have all the time in the world to harass me and to give the collective middle finger to the Judge Fell and the judge's order.
In their desperate attempt to get rid of me, they tried to intimidate me with OD-Legal investigations, and that didn't work. Then, they tried to solicit complaints by members of the public, and that didn't work. Then, they order Jorge Gomez to give me a bullshit performance evaluation after doing a solid job for him for two years, and that didn't work. Currently, they are secretly reviewing case files and trying to find anything to sink their teeth into. There's nothing there because I do the job. They can keep harassing me: Duncan and Rosen have the timeline.
Jorge Gomez couldn't investigate his way out of a paper bag, yet the management ass-hats are telling him to find something, and it's placing him in a stressful situation; he's going balder by the minute. That's why he took the 90 days of "whatever" after the Rowene Diaz lawsuit. He makes problems worse.

Supervisor Whore-hay Gomez moved Hearing Officer Jim Jackson's office so Whore-hay could have the biggest office in Santa Ana...go Whore-hay!

This is how arrogant, dim-witted, and short-sighted DLSE supervisor Jorge "Whore-hay' Gomez is as well as why Gomez has no friends in the Santa Ana office. Hearing Officer Jackson needs a big office so he can accomodate Plaintiffs, Defendants, and their representatives in the wage claim formal hearings. DLSE Assistant Chief Nance Steffen understood this, which is why Gomez had a smaller office. As a professional and personal "fcuk you" to Nance Steffen, Gomez moved Jackson once Steffen was no longer part of Gomez's chain of command. As an office reference, Regional Manager Abigael Calva has the smallest office in Los Angeles, and she is Gomez's boss.
Gomez doesn't need an office that big because he doesn't have clusters of people congregating there all at once, but his ego does need an office that big. It's one of the ways a very small person feels bigger. Gomez doesn't give a crap about the public because the DLSE Santa Ana office is all about Gomez and his arrogance. He will tell the public, "my deputy will do this, my deputy will do that," etc. These are not his deputies; he doesn't pay our salaries. His job is to direct our work, and we are not his employees.
RM Calva lets him get away with this because Calva doesn't give a sh*t; she's just here to collect a check until she retires...it seems that every DLSE manager over 50 is here just to sit on their ass and to collect a free check, nothing gets dones around this shithole to really help people, and it starts with letting *ssholes like Gomez take the biggest office in Santa Ana just because his ego wants it.

Whore-hay Gomez keeps ramming the Santa Ana office into the taxpayer's backside

Whore-hay Gomez does it again to the taxpayer! Instead of pulling the settlement deputy commissioner (with the highest caseload) out of rotation to fix his Mary Tokar caseload problems, he goes in the other direction. His Mary Tokar problem should have already been fixed because he pulled a hearing officer out of rotation (for months) to hold Tokar's conferences, but that wasn't enough to screw over the taxpayer" now another employee's gotta fix Whore-hay's problems.
Whore-hay Gomez massages the monthly "stats" and he jams another employee out of $7 in parking expenses; Whore-hay doesn't so much as lift a finger to fix the $7 employee expense problem, so the employee now wants the $400+ worked in overtime. This is the same crap we see from employers...What could have been a $7 taxpayer problem is now a $400+ taxpayer problem, all because of Whore-hay Gomez and his inability to generate independent thought (Whore-hay Gomez cannot take a dump without first calling his boss, Regional Manager Abigael Calva). Abby Calva must be proud of her non-DNA/wanna-be son; Whore-hay scrapes his knee and he cries to momma Calva.
Whore-hay Gomez is a joke, and Labor Standards still has no Labor Standards.

Jorge "Post-it Note" Gomez returns! Who said he wasn't potty-trained at gunpoint?

This clown cannot get out of his own way.  The minute he has just a  little bit of breathing room, he resorts back to his old bad habits...habits that got him into hot water in the first place.  "Anal retentive" is a fitting phrase for Mr. Gomez, as he cannot let anything go.  To give you an example, Mr. Broadwater submitted a wage claim for a hearing and Jorge Gomez rejected it because the word "overtime" was hyphenated.  Jorge had his little Post-it Note for Bruce on the claim, directing Bruce to correct it.  So Bruce corrected it, and then the claim sat on Jorge's desk for almost two months.  Funny, I couldn't find that policy (or the procedure) for Post-it Notes and delayed wage claims.
At the DLSE Santa Ana office, it goes something like this:
Gomez reviewing a wage claim...2 minutes
Gomez  finding a comma out of place...1 minute
Gomez writing his discovered error on a Post-it Note...1 minute
Gomez returning the claim to the deputy...1 minute
Gomez's feeling of satisfaction by being "the boss".....PRICELESS...oh wait,
The claim being delayed because of an immaterial comma....TWO MONTHS
Jorge Gomez is at it again with the Post-it Notes.  Yesterday, one employee got 5 claims returned and another employee got 2 claims returned.  The employee who rec'd the 5 claims rejected is new, so I wonder why Gomez didn't provide the training that was needed to prevent a rejected claim?  How come Gomez isn't so anal retentive with training new employees as he is with rejecting claims?  Now, none of these Post-it Notes show any real problems (if they were, Gomez would have listed it in the 900 Notes), so we're talking about minutia...little issues that only ruffle Gomez's feathers, like commas out of place, hyphens, and colons.
In a normal world, Liquid Paper would fix the problem in 5 seconds.  In Gomez's fiefdom, he needs to feel special, he needs to feel worthy and needed.  In his little brain, he actually feels like he's doing the right thing.  In reality, he's delaying wage claims and taking a big dump on the Corrales decision over minutia.  He's clueless as to how to make things easier in the Santa Ana office.

DLSE supervisor Jorge Gomez cannot get anything right: counter duty assignments, wage claim commissions, transmittals, you name it

I can't imagine anything sadder than Abby Calva helping Jorge Gomez with the 540 transmittals (the last form approved before a wage claim is scheduled for a hearing).  That's  like Vicki Tamoush helping Ivette Dominguez with the DLSE 530.
It does tell me one thing: they don't like this blog, and when the photo of Jorge Gomez's box of waiting transmittals was published, Abby came down to take care of business.
In another famous Jorge Gomez critical thinking endeavor, he's not changing the counter duty assignments until the safety barrier is complete.  I'm not sure that one is linked to the other, but they are in Gomez's brain; he should probably wait until Tamoush comes back so he has 1 extra deputy for the rotation.
Jorge Gomez is also keping commission claims from certain staff, just his way of playing favorites.  I'm sure he'll spin it with lies and half-truths because that's how he rolls: in secrets, never fully forthcoming. He'll play the idiot card before he plays the liar card.

The state doesn't do more with less; the state does less with less...just ask Jorge Gomez

Jorge Gomez does less with less!  When the bosses tell him to go after the blogger, then he has no time to process wage claims; it got so bad that Regional Manager Abigael Calva reviewed and approved thrity-two (32) wage claims for formal 98a hearings!  Georgie Porgie, pudding & pie, blew off the transmittals and made the wage claimants cry!  Will this lack of prioritization with Jorge Gomez reflect in his performance evaluation?  He's an EXEMPT employee, so why isn't he staying late to finish the job?  Why can't he effectively manage his time?  Can't he find the time to secretly pursue the blogger AND process wage claims?
If I hadn't seen the 900 Notes themselves, then I would have never believed that Abigael Calva helped Jorge Gomez process transmittals for hearing!  There are almost 33,000 records in the Santa Ana database...guess how many transmittals have been approved by Abby Calva?  That's right!  I'm sure it's just a coincidence, though!
Maybe she can start holding conferences and hearings...Santa Ana's getting backed up because Jorge is letting his favorite employees avoid the commission claims!

If Jorge Gomez does secret file reviews of the asian deputies, then does he protect himself by (then) doing case file reviews of the white deputies?

DSLE management is all about "after the fact," meaning that once their brains are activated, they then decide to go into the wrong direction...it's the same with CMS, it's the same with their meal & rest period cluster bombs, and it's the same with anything of importance.
With the blogger, DLSE was very insistent upon payback for losing the lawsuit, so they began looking for anything in hopes of putting some stink on the blogger.  In their infinite wisdom, they came up with case closings.  They decided that despite no performance standards and no priorities, they evaluated the blogger as "needs improvement" with regards to case closings.  In response, the blogger closed 140 cases in April and 103 cases in May.
This infuriated management, because this was not the desired response.  How dare the blogger improve performance once management, bullshit or not, communicated it.  Management was now desperate to find anything, so management conducted secret case file reviews of the blogger.  This time, they were finally hoping to finally find something worthy enough to dispatch the blogger.
Unfortunately (again), there was nothing to be found.  Of course the files weren't perfect, but when a state employee is assigned almost 2,000 cases in just over two years by managers with no standards, no policies, no procedures, no regulations, and no priorities, perfection is unattainable.
But now the cat's outta the bag, and the blogger wants to know why secret case file reviews were ordered, so Jorge Gomez responds by secretly reviewing case files of another deputy.  According to that dumbshit Gomez, there is no harassment or discrimination because it was his plan (all along) to conduct secret case file reviews, and it's just a coincidence that in all of Gomez's years that he started this secret case file review in 2008, it's just a coincidence that Gomez started with the blogger, and it's just a coincidence that Gomez used the very same harassment technique to get rid of Mary  Tokar in 2007 (but not secret--he put her on Counter Duty after he reviewed her files).
So let's re-cap: the blogger's survived all of their harassment, all of their discrimination, and all of their retaliation.  That sonofabitch blogger is still breathing DLSE air, and they've played their last card.  So unless that dumb blogger starts walking around the halls naked, they might want to use their time in drafting a policies & procedures manual (PPM), they might want to rank their list of priorities, and they might want to start looking at their own ineptitude before hunting down a deputy that's assigned almost 2,000 cases...and working them.

DLSE Santa Ana supervisor Jorge Gomez reportedly cannot keep his stories straight, just like his monthly stats reporting

So Jorge Gomez doesn't have a clue as to what's going on at DLSE.  Someone asks about a 4/10/40 work schedule, and he tells them that the Labor  Commissioner is going to do away with all alternative work schedules--state wide.
Naturally, his credibility is in the toilet as nothing he says can be believed, so the employee says that they'll believe it when Angela Bradstreet issues the statewide memo via email and removes everyone from the 4/10/40 and 9/8/80 work schedules.  I'm sure this attitude of Gomez's does wonders for morale and it's a direct contradiction to what Governor Schwarzenegger wants, but f*ck the Governator, right?
DLSE does things their way, and they don't need no stinking Governor telling DLSE how to run their ship, eh?  DLSE is fighting the telework grievances like there's no tomorrow.  That's the DLSE: fight & lose, convert millions of taxpayer dollars into CMS fertilizer and not one bureaucrat receives so much as a counseling memo.  I want to pee on the d-l-s-e!

With Santa Ana DLSE supervisor Jorge Gomez, you are guaranteed some sort of bullsh*t excuse as to why things are all screwed up.  His arrogance will not allow him to say, "I screwed up, sorry, won't happen again."
This management jackass cannot submit the same performance statistics on two different forms.  Take a real good look at the numbers; they are not the same.
Now this clown isn't an idiot; he's been doing the job for almost thrity (30) years.  He's secretive and will use incompetence (I didn't know, I'm not sure, I don't remember) instead of intent (I screwed up-I apologize).  Regional Manager Abigael Calva prefers this.

DLSE supervisor Jorge Gomez cancels staff meeting less than 24 hours before it starts: unable to fill hours with hearings & conferences

In a typical move by DLSE supervisor Jorge Gomez, he cancels his staff meeting at the last minute, so those who want to hold conferences and hearings are unable to schedule & slot them into these vacant hours.  File this under FRAUD, WASTE, and ABUSE.
Jorge Gomez isn't some brand-new noob with no experience, and this isn't the first time he's canceled a staff meeting at the last minute.  He almost always cancels at the last minute, which shows how well he manages his time, his priorities, and his  service to the public.
As long as Princess Gomez can cancel whenever he wants, he's happy.  He thinks nothing of the public he serves, he thinks nothing of the staff that have reserved such time for him, and he thinks nothing of his operational efficiency to both public and staff.  At other more professional state departments like Dept. of Justice and Dept. of Insurance, staff meetings are canceled because of operational needs, like serving a search warrant or something that takes precedent like an exigent circumstance.
At the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, supervisor Jorge Gomez cancels 'cause he feels  like it!  Labor Standards has no labor standards, and both the public and staff suffer for the inefficiency, unprofessional conduct & discourteous treatment of Mr. Gomez.

DLSE manager continues to harass blogger, continues to delay wage claims, and continues to thumb his nose at the Corrales decision...

DLSE supervisor Jorge Gomez has nothing but time to harass the blogger, despite the fifty-eight (58) wage claims that need his signature for 98a wage claim hearings. This picture was taken on my own time, using my own equipment, and I physically counted each and every DLSE 540 (otherwise known as the transmittal), the last step before Jorge Gomez approves it for a 98a hearing. Here these wage claims collect dust while Jorge Gomez tries to rub some stink on the blogger.
Instead of processing the very claims that got DLSE into trouble with the Corrales decision, he secretly reviewed twenty (20) wage claim case files assigned to the blogger. You know what Gomez discovered during his secret review? That the blogger was doing the job. A huge waste of time on the part of Jorge Gomez, time he (supposedly) doesn't have. The blogger will continue to document how Jorge Gomez spends his day, and the blogger will continue to broadcast the harassment and the inefficient service to the taxpayer.
Jorge Gomez is a documented failure: he can't process wage claims in a timely manner, he couldn't bring Mary Tokar to an acceptable level of performance, he couldn't bring Vicki Tamoush to an acceptable level of performance, he cannot bring his office to an acceptable level of staffing to efficiently serve the public, and he lets his office favorites cherry-pick the easy wage claims. It seems that the only thing he knows how to do is to secretly review the case files of the only state employee who dared to question & broadcast their wrongdoing.
Denise Padres, Angela Bradstreet, John Duncan, Richard Munoz, Vanessa Holton, and Steve McSquinty: I took the photo, not on state time and not using state equipment. Don't waste my time & the taxpayers money by forcing me to attend another 9-minute internal affairs investigation in Los Angeles. You jackasses have this information, so stop wasting funds that are not yours to waste. Why don't you losers stop harassing me and take a decisive course of action, one way or the other?
