Rumor has it at $40 million dollars and totally worthless! CMS: Computerized, mismanaged, system failure

Boy oh boy: the first reports coming out of the recent CMS training are of horror! This beast of a system is going to consume everything in its path and leave a wake of destruction like no other. If that $40 million dollar price tag is true, then someone send this to the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Assn., the Bureau of State Audits, and your locally-elected representatives. Rule #1:

FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Poor 'ol Victor Jurado (the CMS trainer/explainer) tried to dodge every single relevant question with some yuk-yuk joke and smile. The truth is, they could not a find Wage Claim Release (known as the DLSE Form 51), and it took them almost all day to complete an Entertainment Work Permit...something that should only take 5 minutes.

The People of California are going to get SCREWED on December 4th, the day the machines take over. It's going to be like Terminater 3's ending...but worse. Lines are going to be out the door, people are going to be pissed and complaining, and why? Because idiots don't have a clue as to how to service the People of California, and they just made the Number One mistake in computerization: DLSE staff will be working for the computer, and the computer will not be working for DLSE statf.

You only know a small part of this information on this CMS. It's not only a night mare, but DLSE is going to be a big loser on this one. It was headed by Leslie Clements who is now working in IT. She was the one who signed all the contracts when she was in HQ's. I really feel sorry for all the employees in DLSE especially for those working in the Licensing Unit. Their jobs depend on the system. Their Manager left just in time before this Unit is back to failure. Find out how much money this Unit is going to loose to the new system. ?????

Leslie Clements was hired to to the IT unit as a DPM II without knowing s*it about IT. She was hired by her buddy from the IT Unit Jim Culbeaux more commonly known as Pinocchio. She was hired so she could get a fatter pay-check on retirement. About a year after she was promoted (April 2006) she retired making her eligible for the fatter pay-check. She is now back working at DLSE as a retired-annuitant. The CMS project is a waste of tax-payer money. From what I hear they have most everyone in the IT unit working on the CMS project, it is costing a fortune. There will be no results from this system.

They had us all go to this training class on the CMS system, which costed a fortune, and everything was completely disorganized. With all that money spent, DLSE should have had something to train us with, but they had trouble even connecting to the computer system.

I heard about this Pinocchio guy from my Legal unit friend. She told me there were some lawsuits filed against DIR and him.
