If the DLSE wanted to pull back their action against Miles Locker, then they could. Much like a court, the prosecution can withdraw their complaint as long as it has not been decided (either by a judge or a jury). This February, the taxpayers of California celebrated their 2-year anniversary of Miles Locker being terminated from public service. What ever happened to the douchebags that fired him? Vicky Bradshaw is still employed, John Rea is on her left udder, Robert Jones is on her right udder, and Anthony Mischel is still collecting his paycheck. DIRt lead grifter lawyer Vanessa Holton is still there, ever the collective mess that she is.
Like any tool (blunt instrument), she's only guided by whoever's handling her: Susan Kennedy, Wal Mart, Boeing, etc? As far as I can tell, her bigshot law degree, her fat bank account, and her big IQ have amounted to nothing at DLSE: she's yet to decide anything on her own. Morons tell her that phone calls will fix that Corrales abortion, so she tells conference deputies to make phone calls. Morons tell her not to settle with the blogger, so she doesn't settle (and the DLSE subsequently loses in court..again). Morons tell her to support that taxpayer-paid, multi-million dollar abortion called CMS, and she does what a good ho's supposed to do: please her pimps.
I'm sure Morons are telling her not to deal with Miles Locker, but she'd be real smart not to listen to those Morons; those are the same Morons that are constantly putting her in a trick-box. Yeah, she's so smart, she can't even tell when she's getting played. This is the big difference between street smarts and book smarts. She went to Berkeley law School and she can't keep from getting played?

Illegally hiring contractors that pay them back and hire and promote individuals that will not reveal these improprieties. I don't care about profanity in the basic sense either. Cuss words aren't the issue. What is the issue is the amount of potential power inherent in this blog, which CL deserves credit for because he has taken the risk to start it and footed the bill to defend it. He also appears to be suffering from the long term stress that comes with something like this, and that's perfectly understandable. This thing is bigger than any one person's hate or frustration however. It's transforming and could reach critical mass if handled correctly. Or it could fizzle into a pathetic DLSE-like substance if not handled correctly. Don't get in it's way CL. Be a man and see it through. Look into your own heart first before the next campaign starts. Read the lastest issue of The Economist. Great article about e-government and how it is largely problematic. I'd say it's time to let go of the CMS thing...this kind of problem is rampant throughout the world and nobody in authority is going to pick up on the DLSE version of the problem. Let's spend energy fixing this mess and knock off the criticism. Nobody really cares when the whole world is a mess. Small minded and self centered people are no help now.
The poster #29 says to let go of CMS. I agree with this, CMS is a major failure and can not be fixed. However, CMS has already cost the State over $6 millions. Don’t you think the incompetents if not the crooked people like Culbeaux and Clements have to held responsible !
Sure they should be held accountable. Everyone should be accountable. But last time I checked the world was full of the opposite of that and there is no point in continuously hoping for accountability on this CMS thing given that government throughout the world is having major problems with computer automation services. There is always waste. The money is not in my pocket which makes me sad, but it's in the economy on some level so wtf...kind of like the billions spent on Iraq. Shall we hold some people accountable for that too while we are at it? Give it up and move on. The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIRt) is one of the worst places to work for in the world. There is wide-spread abuse of workers’ rights at DIRt. Bullying, Torture, Harassment, Discrimination are meted out to DIRt workers regularly. Where is the Justice Department? Is there anyone who is going to help???
It is possible that DIR is the absolute worst example of bad law and regulation mixed with beaurocracy but it is by no means unique. Quit snivelling (part of the problem) and become part of the solution. The fix must start on the inside. Impossible as this may seem, there is no other way. So either suit up and play hardball by the rules day in and day out or shut up. Or try private enterprise and see how you like that. There's a nice recession growing to squeeze out all the dregs of the work force. Those who can't take it will be looking for government jobs as a hedge against this.

One of the most badly managed divisions of DIR is the IT Unit. It is headed by the guy, Culbeaux mentioned frequently in this blog for the wasted DLSE CMS system, and other failed IT projects at DIR for the last several years.

The Director's Office has been using Dean Fryer to post comments here in an effort to undermine the blog. They are trying to make it appear that there are only a few people are abused and targeted. I encourage all posters to invite your friends at DIRt to keep posting and calling your local politicians till we have a complete regime change.

Harrassment : BOFE manager Greg Rupp investigating a wage claim complaint. Wage Claim is not his jurisdiction, so this action was for pure harassment purposes (couldn't find anything in their procedures manual that justified Rupp's involvement)
Abuse: inappropriate promotions of Lupe Almaraz, Denise Padres, Jose Millan, Robert Jones and the abuse of authority in terminating Miles Locker and violating the blogger's constitutional rights where 3 judges have already ruled against the DLSE and not one point was ruled in the DLSE's favor.
Fraud: let's see, where do I begin? CMS, the million dollar disaster that still won't work, DLSE being dry-humped by big corporations to re-define meal & rest periods, and finally, the meal/rest period propaganda video ruled illegal by another judge (was that a jose Millan/Dean Fryer special?)
