CMS is a disaster: a taxpayer-paid, multi-million dollar disaster---courtesy of the highest ranks of DLSE management

Words cannot describe how bad CMS is, and I'm confining that to the part that barely works: the minor Entertainment Work Permit. I'd really like to see these morons explain to the Bureau of State Audits and the California Assembly & Senate how they (the DLSE management morons) thought this was a great tool for everyone but the morons (the DLSE management morons don't use it, so it 'works' for them).
What the heck is an "AC" number and why does CMS require that, in addition to the license number?
Why must we input the letter "C" for Hansen's Customer with every data entry? Can't the program be tweaked to do this automatically?
Why is there so much repetitive data being entered?
Why are there so many screens to navigate?

The main problem with the CMS is that the underlying part of this computer software does not support the required business functions of the DLSE. This problem should have been identified by the computer people (Clement, Culbeaux) at the DIR IT. These people supposedly analyzed Hanson program and signed off on this multi-million dollar wasteful project.

Has anyone try typing out a work permit for an angry entertainment mom staring down at you since her darling has a job the next morning and it is 4:30pm in the afternoon. It's (11) pages of hell without one mistake in order to correctly issue one work permit. One mistake and you're going back (11) pages to find the mistake. Could this possible be a Candid Camera skit? Where is the camera hidden? HELP, ANYONE, WHERE ARE YOU ANGELA? PLEASE SAVE US FROM THIS M0NSTER!!
