Anonymous trolls, freedom of speech, distractions
There is not enough time to surveil the comments made to these posts. It seems that all the stupid people think that the sky is falling simply because comments are posted by those who have ulterior motives. If I see something like, "we don't care about your blog..." then it will be deleted. If some troll wants to rant, then that's fine: they can start their own website. Some people have cried out that I've deleted comments is squashing free speech; I just have no time for crapola, so when it's appropriate, I'll lock-out the comments.

Maybe this will help the religious whackos move to another site.
Maybe DIRt will get the message and just use their own blog for their propaganda.
Maybe the corrupt DIRt managers will simply shrivel up and go away; not likely since they have no life; that's like saying Rupp, Tamoush and Bradstreet will start visiting a 24hr. Fitness.
Dean Fryer the Deputy Director of DIRt is being paid big bucks to keep commenting on this site. Only Dean and DIRt management have the ability to post during work hours. The rest of us at DIRt are blocked out from this site as of the last time I checked. Are we not having a deficit here in the State of California? Did we hire a Deputy Director with a single job duty and function -- to monitor this blog?
Please keep the comments on this blog focused on the dirt at DIR. There are plenty of work related dishonesty and fraudulence to be exposed. No need for personal attracts please!
