Years later and Santa Ana DLSE still has no safety barrier...

What's the dipshit excuse now, no budget? Can't these spincter muscles find a way to get something done instead of providing excuses for consistent failures, blown deadlines, and fiduciary malfeasance? This is DLSE Supervisor Jorge Gomez, partying because the entire California COURT OF APPEALS building will be built before the DLSE has their ribbon-cutting ceremony on that new counter/reception area/safety barrier.
One friggin' office to be built versus an entire building. Does the entire DIRt/DLSE desk jockeys suffer from asswholeitis?
Congrats to latest Santa Ana hire DLSE Deputy Commissioner Susanita Parker on receiving two separate complaints for job performance, but she won't receive the same treatment as the blogger because they only want to discriminate, harass, and retaliate against the blogger. Five years after being placed on formal notice that the DLSE lacks a specific policy, and the DLSE still has no internal complaint investigations policy...just personal vendettas.

How do you expect anyone to be supportive of your cause when this blog's contents, as well as the comments in support of you, are filled with childish rhetoric? Your message, whatever it might be, is completely lost among such ridiculous references as the last comment. One might assume that the safety barrier that the SA office is to protect themselves from you...

To the 09/02/08 commenter posting at 6:59 PM - people like you who are so sensitive by words are too stupid to comprehend the content. Try to read beyond dumb-ass adjectives, and the last time I checked douchebag, the safey barrier was for an abusive citizen, not a state worker.

The Labor Commish has her ass protected by a safety barrier, but the people in Santa Ana? Let them eat cake. What's ridiculous is DLSE management who can't manage a public law enforcement agency, yet if it was up to you, we'd have a sensitive-word police force.

fyi...i certainly can understand the content. anyone who has a modicum of intelligence can. the point is that you cheapen the arguement and alienate people by acting so childish. you lose the respect of individuals who might otherwise support the cause. i don't care about the words you douchebag, i just think that the blogger doesn't help the fight by referring to every woman he doesn't like as a whore. while we are on the subject, what is the blogger's obsession with men and their asses? sooo... does that make me more intelligent?

Someone once said, "How do you know what you know?"
I can only tell you what I know and I only post this because of comments made about George and the safety barrier.
When George was promoted to Sr. Deputy his first office was Stockton. One of his first tasks and on his own he had a safety barrier installed at the Stockton Office. In fact, he designed the barrier that was installed.
I of course don't know why a safety barrier has not been installed in Santa Ana but I do know that it is not because of George.
You portray George as being a person who does not care for the safety of his staff. This is simply not true.
With kindest regards to all,
Bud Heck

DEAN FRYER PROSTITUTING AGAIN FOR HIS DIRt PIMPS. DEAN'S COMMENTS ON 9/2 AT 6:59PM AND 9:13PM ARE SELF-SERVING, BUT THEN AGAIN, THAT IS WHAT DEAN'S HOMOSEXUAL LIFE IN THE CASTRO HAS TAUGHT DEAN, THE MOST SELF-SERVING SCUM IN THE UNIVERSE.

No one has mentioned Jim Culbeaux's name yet. What is happening to this blog?

How many years has Jorge been at Santa Ana? Santa Ana continues to place their staff in harm's way by not having a safety barrier; he was more concerned about getting rid of the blogger, a mean little typist, than providing safety for his staff.

Had he worked just as hard at obtaining a barrier for his staff as he worked to get rid of the blogger, this issue would have been moot.

To Bud Keck: I highly doubt that the State would allow a mananger to actually DESIGN a safety barrier. Most state agencies have a department that handles facility/property management that includes any sort of tenant improvements. George might have seen the plans, but trust me, he did not design the barrier. All decisions of this type are made above his level...

The point of the blog is bring attention to the ongoing problems that plague the DIR. Get past the bad language...don't you think the blogger uses some of this language for shock value that gets people talking??

I doubt that Bud Heck, who ever he may be, ever worked for Jorge Gomez. Jorge may have well worked for Bud Heck and if that is the case Bud Heck saw a completely different Jorge then the people who work for him do. Jorge does not protect the people who work for him. Jorge constantly refers to team work but he is not a member of the team. Jorge is about Jorge. He has no clue what reciprocity is. Jorge can remember any detail of any bulletin issued by higher management, but he has a selective memory when it comes to remembering what he has concurred with when it comes to a Santa Ana case that is being reviewed by that same higher management. That is when team work goes out the window. As weak as our union is and as manipulated as civil service laws are, everyday I am very thankful for that little bit of protection.

my guess is that the blogger buys into the fallacy that there is no such thing as bad publicity ergo his childish statements. i could care less about bad language in theory, i myself cuss like a sailor, when appropriate. however, i realize that when you argue like a 12 year old boy, in turn you will be treated like one.

Let's focus on the content:

1) whole building being built before a whole office.

2) similar deputy, similar complaints but different treatment

Can we all get off the poopy-language train now? Have Dean Fryer argue those 2 issues without the crying about potty mouths.

Does anyone know if Dean Fryer the half-inch dick man has registered with that San Francisco City hall to tie the knot with fellow half-inch dick boy James (Jim) Culbeaux?

Who's arguing like a 12-year old boy? Blogger stated that an entire building will be built before the safety barrier office will be finished.

People should assume that both were started at approximately the same time and that DLSE's fiscal ineptitude is similar to the CMS fiasco, so how is this argument child-like?

While the blog entry is not ready for the Washington Post, it's certainly shows that once again, the DLSE cannot get it right the first time, the second time, the third time, etc.

The DIR can't ever get anything right! Once the blogger's ordeal with DIR is over, I predict that he will be victorious- reinstated with back pay plus interest, and also be awarded punative damages for the DIR's retaliation against him. It will probably take a while, but in the end, DIR will be wrong AGAIN!

DIRt IS ALWAYS WRONG. INFACT IT WOULD BE BETTER IF DIRt IS SHUT DOWN SINCE THEY ARE NOT PERMORMING THE FUNCTIONS THEY WERE INTENDED TO PERFORM.

I work in the Santa Ana Office and I am forced to bring a concealed weapon to work in order to protect myself and my fellow workers. This protective barrier argument has been going on for 20 years without results. Now that the barrier is completed, they forgot to budget a door that has to be replaced and guess what is happening to the State budget. Good Grief!!!

No amount of money will be enough for the suffering the blogger has undergone. I hope he consults more attorneys.
