Businesses who rec'd citations from DIRt should act just like DIRt: fight, delay, and refuse to pay!

Some commenter, smarter than myself (I can't take credit for this idea), stated that all business owners who have been cited by DIRt/DLSE should follow the standard set by DIRt/DLSE. Businesses should fight every citation, file every motion they can for a continuance, and then refuse to pay after the decision is rendered. This will mirror what the DIRt/DLSE has acted by Judge Fell's decision.
First, they fought the TRO (temporary restraining order) preventing them from violating the blogger's right to off-duty typing. Second, they filed motions for delays and continuances (here's a HINT: losers never want to fight in court, they want to delay in hopes of memory fading/loss of interest). Third, once they lost the case, they just refused to pay. Almost a year later and they've still refused to pay.
This is a classic DIRt/DLSe example of "do as I say and not as I do," meaning that they want cited businesses to pay the citations without putting up a fight.

Isn't this agency run by lawyers who should know better? Why does management think that they are above obeying the judge's order??

This agency has no polices, procedures or standards. They basically do whatever they want in regards to promotions, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Will DIR ever be held accountable? The employees of this agency and the people of the state deserve more, because ultimately, they are the ones who suffer from DIR's inept management.

Starting to sound worse than a third world country? Well because thats what Labor Laws have become with the management at DIRt. You could keep quite and not speak out but these criminals are running and violating state laws with no one to stop them. Its only a matter of time before this criminal teatment of workers will spread and your loved ones will be affected. Don't be sorry when its too late and affects your loved ones.

criminal treatment of workers?
What about the unconstitutional and unjust confiscation of private property under false pretenses, false allegations, and perjury?

This is government at its worst!

The DLSE reflects the most communist / socialist ideology of the entire Executive Branch of our state!

What other branch confiscates private assets and wealth without trial?

Can you imagine if businesses copied DLSE management and ignored court orders and then used DLSE's refusal as mitigating circumstances, "if DLSE's not compelled to follow court orders then neither are we."

Of course, there's no teeth in the courts because no one is threatened with jail time. If the judge threatened the Labor Commissioner with jail (contempt of court), how fast would the blogger get his check?

The same goes for wage claims: every business that gets nailed with a wage claim should fight it, request a continuance in the 98a hearing, wait for the decision and then not pay the decision.

When the Claimant bitches about not being paid, the DLSE can say that the employer is using the DIRt/DLSE method of court decision obedience.

What if DSLE was simply disbanded and just let businesses self-regulate through trade associations?
Let the markets decide who is running a clean shop and who is not. Folks will vote with their pocketbooks on where they buy their goods and services.
Leaders lead; Bureaucrats hold hearings.

I saw Jim Culbeaux and his wife Anya Axelrod who is a project manager for Charles Schwab and their son Maxim Culbeaux the other day. I did not know they were scam artists. Thanks for keeping us informed.
