The $80,000+ taxpayer waste is the tip of the iceberg: how much wasted in state salaries??????

So the five OD-legal wizards: Vanessa Holton, Anthony Mischel, Richard Munoz, Steve McGinty, and unknown asian female did what they could to ensure a proper legal loss at the blogger's winning trial. Defendant Lupe Almaraz, hometown Bakersfield but based in San Francisco's HQ, rec'd $$$ per diem, free lodging, and free airplane tickets to attend the blogger's winning trial.
How much do you think that state wasted paying these idiots their salary on something completely unrelated to the DLSE's mission of labor law enforcement? How many man hours wasted on a losing legal battle called off-duty free speech? What's the ballpark estimate? $150,000.00? $250,000.00? What about the costs of depositions? What about the paralegals and paralawyers who processed the paperwork for all this mess? How much was paid to them in state wages to lose this court case?
If I had to guess, then I'd estimate it at a minimum of $300,000.00 for 9+ DLSE professionals' wages, logistical expenses, lodging, airline, and perdiem, etc. Not that these douchebags would ever provide a proper & exact accounting for the time wasted on this loser case: honesty, accountability, and integrity is just not their style. Now, fast forward to the trial of Miles Locker. Money stolen from the taxpayers so Vicky Bradshaw's assholes like Robert Jones can exercise their personal vendettas is well over a million dollars in state wages.
Those man hours could have gone to proper labor law enforcement, but whores like Vicky Bradshaw bend over for Governor Steroid, which is why I support the Prison Guard's union in recalling the Governor. Personal vendettas have no place in paid state service, and the millions of dollars paid to keep Miles and me out of state service is a disservice to the taxpayers of California; they deserve better than these politically-appointed douchebags.

These fucktards do nothing related to labor law enforcement. This entire department should be dismantled, per the pro-republican governor. Sweatshops can self-regulate, business owners will not hesitate to buy workers comp insurance, without the help of this useless agency. Unpaid wages can tax the local courts because this department spends too much time getting rid of those employees who actually serve the people and refuse to suck the asses of political appointees.

"Personal vendettas have no place in paid state service"- Chris Lotts. Wow, you truly have absolutely no insight into your own behavior! How is this this entire blog NOT a personal vendetta! It is clear that your interest in the downfall of the PEOPLE involved in this fight against you is FAR more important than any issue you purportedly support.

The problem is that the salaries of all of these super-lawyers is already factored into the DIR's budget, and since no one cares about the amount of work they produce (unlike all of the other deputies who are expected to close x amount of cases/month) they can drag this fiscal fiasco on for years...

FYI to the post at 6:21 pm- if the blogger does have any sort of personl vendetta (and frankly, can you blame him?), at least it isn't being carried out on the state's dime or the state's time...big difference when compared to the DIR's activities . Think about it..

Listen up a-hole: even if I had a personal vendetta, that shit is done on my own time, sans the taxpayer fraud, waste, and abuse.

To the village idiot from 9/09/2008, 6:21pm:

They started this bullshit by initially violating my rights, and they are continuing this fight by retaliating, harassing, and discriminating against me by having terminated my service to the public.

They can end this shit once and for all by doing the right thing OR we can use the courts to fix it. They have chosen the courts, once again, and once again, the taxpayers will suffer.

The OD-Legal morons will waste time preparing for 3 different court actions instead of enforcing labor laws, and the douchebags that write their checks are totally okay with that because they're also douchebags themselves.

Anytime the douchebags want to fix DIRt/DLSE, they can start by refunding the TEN MILLION DOLLARS+ for the CMS abortion that the taxpayers paid for. Until that taxpayer fiscal fraud is returned to the taxpayers, STFU and stop whining about personal vendettas.

This has nothing to do with personal vendettas, but, with the way this department treats its employees that really care about their work performance for a good outcome for the taxpayer. This administration is in need of a complete audit starting from the top down so they can find out just how much time and money OD Legal is wasting in persecuting this type of management retaliation towards employees that stand up for what's right. Blogger boy keep on fighting and don't give up.

Arnold is telling you fruitcakes to get off the backs of small business owners. You meatballs are going to overtax and overregulate every business right out of California. The economy can't survive with its core identity being nail salons, pizza parlors, and lawyers. You guys are strangling industry with your wacky environmental laws and bloated workers comp system. Go buy someone else's carbon credits you tree-hugging greenpeace creeps!

To the retard Dean Fryer that posted on 9/9 at 6:21PM "Personal vendettas have no place in paid state service." If this was a personal vandetta then why did DIRt pay CL $80,000+?

It was a personal vendetta, which is why the judge ordered DIRt to pay the blogger his attorney fees and was PERMANENTLY forbidden to demand the blogger's confidential sources and private diaries.

In response to the Rush Limbaugh ditto-head who posted on 9/12/08 at 6:57 pm, go hug a leaky nuclear reactor and be sure to suck hard on your car's exhaust pipe with the ignition on and the vehicle running.

And in response to the other moron (or maybe it was the same idiot) who posted on 9/9 at 5:04 pm, "sweatshops can self regulate." OK, Sarah Palin, get off this blog NOW.

To the commenter from 9/13/2008 2:02 PM - I think the sweatshop comment was made in jest; it was a joke really stating that government is needed to regulate abusive businesses, but the agency in charge of this enforcement is a joke. Get it?
